Visionary Insomniac Records was founded by top international Jazz pianist, Judy Lewis, in September 2004. After 3 years with UK based Rosco Records, Judy decided to take her musical future into her own hands with the formation of this daring new indie label. The label’s first release, No Expectations (Judy Lewis & Phoenix over Manhattan, 2004) received rave reviews worldwide and was voted among the top 10 Jazz releases of 2004 by Jazztimes critic Stuart Nicholson. In 2006 Visionary Insomniac Records will be releasing an exciting and innovative duo album, Two On The Horizon, featuring Judy on piano and 17 year old blind guitar virtuoso, Orr Didi, on acoustic guitar.
